My mission is to help my clients resolve their health issues by identifying the root cause. I am a health and nutrition educator and consultant working with individuals, groups, and businesses. Think of me as your own personal private health investigator! Together we identify your unique nutritional requirements for a lifetime of health and wellness.
After over 20 years in the business world as a marketing and strategic planning executive at United Airlines, J.I. Case, Kohler Company, and Norlight Telecommunications, I became more interested health and nutrition. I’m not exactly sure how it happened – it just did! I believe it was my calling. My journey began with yoga and soon developed into nutrition. In 2006 I founded Rosen Wellness, LLC to share the knowledge and benefits I experienced during my own personal transition.
I use multiple techniques and information in developing my client’s personal nutrition and supplement program. The main technique I call Functional Response Testing. This is my adaptation of Freddie Ulan’s Nutrition Response Testing, developed through my own personal experiences and extensive training with Dr. Joseph Teff and Dr. Davis Brockenshire.
I love working with my clients who are of all ages. There is nothing more rewarding than the success stories: the Crohn’s disease that was in reality caused a parasite, the autoimmune liver disease which was also from a parasite, the rash that was from chemical toxicity, and the hormone imbalance that was due to corn sensitivity! These four are just a few examples of the daily findings that I see in my office. You can read about others on the Testimonials pages.
I have a PhD in Holistic Nutrition and am a Certified Technician in Whole Foods Nutrition by the International Federation of Nutrition and Health. In addition, I have many hours of nutrition training from Standard Process and Physica Energetics seminars and webinars and have been mentored by Dr. Davis Brockenshire, Ann Louise Gittleman, and Dr. Michael Gaeta.
Prior to my nutrition education I earned an MBA from Northwestern University and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Away from my practice I enjoy spending time with my wife Susana and our beagle Barry (who also has his own nutrition program!!), traveling, reading, and playing the piano. I have a son Zach who works in Washington DC, a daughter Mollie who studies in Boston, and two step-sons: Nathan and Rafi.
