WHAT SHAPE ARE YOU IN?

Welcome to March, Spring is just around the corner. Perhaps, you have settled into your routine for 2023. This is a great time to assess your health goals for the year. Do you still wonder what foods are best for you (remember we are all different and what someone is telling you is good for you, may not be)? Would you still like to lose a few pounds (swimsuit season will be here before you know it)? Have you started that new exercise program?

In a few days you will either be filling out your NCAA Tournament Bracket or know someone in that process. While trying to predict upsets to get the upper hand in your bracket can be challenging, nothing can be more maddening than trying to figure out your optimal diet. There are so many options and opinions, all claiming to be the best! The truth is that we are all different – different genes, different histories, different life circumstances, different metabolisms – and all these factors affect our health and what is the best diet for you. As a base line it is important to eat clean and healthy food, but after that the mixture of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats is not going to be the same for everyone.

However, at the end of the day, there is one simple fact. The best way to stay healthy and avoid chronic disease is to be at a normal weight and eat the diet that is best for your body.

This month we will look at what that means for you and encourage you to consider the SHAPE ReClaimed Program for either a 21-day cleanse or the full-length program for detoxification, immune system support, hormonal balancing and weight loss.

THE BEST WAY TO STAY HEALTHLY IS TO BE AT A NORMAL WEIGHT

As you recall from our previous articles being overweight is a major health issue. If you are overweight, you have a significantly greater risk factor for several health issues including: breathing, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, osteoarthritis, gallstones, Type 2 diabetes, gout, high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, sleep apnea, pregnancy difficulties, and cancer. To review this article discussing the risks associated with being overweight click here: Your Weight and Your Health.

Our recommended solution to get your health back in line is SHAPE ReClaimed. This program is effective because it takes into consideration five factors that are not addresses by other programs.

  1. Bioindividuality – the program is tailored specifically for you.
  2. Starvation – you feed your body to health.
  3. Nutrient Deficiencies – you eat real foods full of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients.
  4. Food Sensitivities – the majority of foods you may have reactions to are eliminated so they do not prevent your cleansing process.
  5. Metabolic Imbalances – during the program we may detect underlying issues that have inhibited your cleansing process.

This is a great time for you to remind your loved ones, friends, and colleagues that you have encouraged to make an appointment, that NOW is the time!

TO KETO OR NOT…THAT IS THE QUESTION

It seems everybody is talking about the keto diet. You may have tried it yourself, or you may know someone who has tried it. It may have worked great or not. Any outcome is possible, as with all diets it is critical to remember we all have different body chemistries and what works for one could be difficult for someone else.

In this article we will look at the history of the keto diet, the positives, the negatives, and why it may or may not work for you. For the rest of the article click here: To Keto or Not?
